Before you do, you should know some things! First, patients don't like it when doctors make you wait for hours on end after their appointment time but if the patient runs a couple of minutes late, the doctor "can't see them". Secondly, patients don't like being handed a bunch of pills as if drugs are the answer to everything! Third, keep your mind and your hands to yourself...... only touching when appropriate. Fourth, put some effort into helping your patient! Go the extra mile and when a patient comes to you with an illness, don't just dismiss or medicate it, tell the patient YOU DON'T KNOW but you are going to find out!! There's nothing I respect LESS than a doctor who isn't willing to put any effort into finding answers. Fifth, when a doctor simply doesn't have the experience to know the answer; there's nothing I hate more than this doctor who isn't willing to REFER me to a doctor with more experience! Sixth, don't expect your patients to respect you when you aren't willing to respect them. Seventh, DON'T make EVERY diagnosis about ONE MEDICAL condition. Such as, you are depressed. You don't have a medical illness, you are depressed. Meanwhile, missing the fact that the patient was exposed to toxic mold; for a real-life example.

If you respect your patients, then they will respect you. If not, well; remember RESPECT is earned, not GIVEN regardless that you have a medical license!! Your patients certainly didn't give you that medical license BUT they can take it away from you! And I, for one; have no issue doing so!!

Does anyone else have anything to add to this discussion so that MAYBE someone studying to become a doctor will actually read this and finally know what it is that we, the patients; want in our doctors?

Oh yeah, I've seen doctors who have sexually molested me. I've seen doctors who have crammed drugs down my throat. I've seen other doctors who couldn't make a simple diagnosis if their life depended on it. What I haven't seen is ONE, NOT ONE doctor that cares what happens to their patient or even takes the oath "first, do no harm" seriously!!

Well, if I give doctors a bad rap: they've certainly EARNED IT!! Who else out there has a horror story to tell about their experience with doctors?

Who does a patient have to turn to when the very person we are sopose to be able to trust is actually the one who is doing the abusing?

The #1 key for me has been listening to, singing with, and playing music. What has worked for you?

I mean, I look at a lot of the musicians from the time that Michael Jackson was singing and they all look like they've aged, maybe even not so gracefully but at least they all look human. I haven't quite figured out what kind of animal Michael Jackson looks like?? Maybe a tiger face? All I know is that he doesn't look human. Maybe since he's had convictions of child molestation, he shouldn't look human cause he doesn't act it!? What are your thoughts?

The errors I keep getting say that windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. The other error says that requires interactive window station.

Tell me all the reasons why you hate doctors!!

One would THINK that this kind of abuse would be on the top of the list of the WORST kind of abuse imaginable. After all, patients go to these doctors for help, just to be emotionally, physically, and/or sexually abused.

Strangely enough, doctors who abuse are MORE LIKELY to get by with it than any other person! After all, who is going to believe the patient since "they are" the patient? A patient who went to that doctor to begin with BECAUSE they had a problem they needed help with.

On top of that, there is nowhere left to go once one has been abused by a doctor. Obviously, other "doctors" aren't going to help you. So now, not only does this person have the original problem they saw that doctor for, but they also have a new problem of abuse by that doctor.

Somebody out there tell me where the JUSTICE is in this situation?

When we talk about the right to die, how far do you think it should go? For instance, does someone who is suicidal have the right to die? Does someone who is dying from a disease have the right to die?

Should we, as a society; help those who feel they have the right to die if they so chose to?

Why is it that doctors can physically, sexually, or emotionally abuse patients but nobody seems to care??

Why do those QUACKS THINK they know everything when the REAL TRUTH is that they don't know a damn thing!!! Oh yeah, there are those little bitty books that they read........ oops!!!! They have no brains!! Just because the book says it, THEY THINK it must be true. Too bad whomever wrote the book was just a big of a DUMB *** as they are!!!!

I would like to know who ELSE out there has been through anti-depressant DETOX?? What was your experience?

Although, I'm not totally against anti-depressants; I do believe that lots of doctors just hand them out like candy. Again, not ALL; but LOTS!! And not once, have I heard one word about just how hard it is to get off them once I got on them!!

When it all comes down to it, yes; I was depressed. BUT, the anti-depressant wasn't the answer. In fact, it become PART of the problem.

My depression stemed from being abused & neglected and began very early in my life. No pill of any kind could have done anything to help that. The sad part is that a doctor knew of the abuse & neglect, yet; sat there and did nothing to help. Actually, he PROTECTED the abuser; which was my sister.

I know that is why, to this day; that I don't believe much of what doctor's say. That, as well as lots of other experiences w/doctors. And for those doctors out there: why don't you listen??

Why do doctors just ASSUME they know what is wrong when they haven't even had enough time to HEAR what it is about?? And why do they just hand out pills to make everything better?

When you, the patient KEEP ASKING for AN ANSWER besides being DRUGGED into OBLIVION??? And after you REFUSE the medication, they call you "uncooperative". But if that QUACK would have listened to you to begin with, he would have known that you are against being medicated UNLESS absolutely necessary!!

What happened to those good old-fashioned country doctors that cared?? Isn't there any doctors that care about anything EXCEPT MAKING LOTS OF MONEY anymore??

During both of my pregnancies, I felt very very good!! I functioned well & was happy. However, when I wasn't pregnant; and still is this way....... I feel exhausted all of the time. I never really feel good.

Is there actually a way to TRICK my body into thinking it is pregnant when it isn't??

Yes, I did tell my doctor & he said that I could stay pregnant...... that wasn't very funny!!!! I would just like to know what I can do BESIDES GET PREGNANT to feel that good when I'm not pregnant!!!!!?? Anybody have any suggestions out there?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I have been diagnoised with toxic mold poisoning. Who out there knows what it is?? The side effects, etc.....???
