97 contour?

97 contour has been shifting out of overdrive, or 5th while in expressway travel. Goes 1st - 4th fine. Got it scanned because the o/d off light was flashing. Has 200k on her. Snap on scanner came up as converter clutch stuck off. Is this a easy fix? Has anyone else had this issue?

the converter clutch solenoid is on the valve body of the transmission. it would be easier to have a transmission shop replace this that do it yourself. the is a lot of technical things that have to be done like torquing the valve body back to specs in the bolt sequence that the manufacturer recommends. have a trans shop do it.
