Pedecure gone wrong?
I had my very first pedecure yesterday, and I am not sure if what is happening is normal or not. The guy who did my toe nails cut too close to the skin on my big toe, and he was hurting me when he was doing my cuticals. I asked him to stop and leave it alone, which he did, but last night my toe really hurt a lot and was red. Today, when I woke up, the whole side of my toe around the nail bed is inflamed and really swollen. Is this normal? Should I go in and ask for my money back, and report him to the health department? That is what one of my friends is saying, but that seems a little harsh. I am just not sure...has anyone had this happen, and if so, how did you handle it?

FIRST, take a picture in case it gets infected and you do have to sue or make a formal complaint...
next go and ask for your money!.........monitor your toe if the swelling does not go down go to a podiatrist or emergency room annd pass the bill to them,,,,,,,,,,it may seem harsh but if you went for just a pedi and got hurt thats not fair either.......good luck

I've had many pedicures, and what you're experiencing is definitely not normal. A good pedicurist would never cut your nails too short....it's their job to know how short is too short! And your cuticles should be treated very gently...that should never hurt.
I would call or go to the place, and ask them what they do in this situation. If they're not willing to help you or do anything about it, then you should take the steps to report them. Most places, if they're smart, will be willing to resolve the situation, as their business could be affected.

i dont think its anything too serious, its just swelling up cos its sensitive.
unless theres blood, then it could get infected, and you would need it checked asap.
you could try for money back anywho.
moneys always good :)
