  • Does anyone else out there think Spencer Pratt looks like a muppet?

When Spencer Pratt has that facial hair, I think he looks like a muppet. Anyone else agree?

  • I am getting married in one week, and my dad died yesterday.?

I am getting married next Friday in Antigua, and my dad died yesterday. How do I not let this effect me? How do I deal with such joy and pain at the same time? How do I not feel guilty and torn about being happy on that day?

  • How much should you tip for a manicure?

About every couple of weeks, I go and get a manicure. The manicurist always always looks very disappointed at a $4 tip, but the entire manicure is only $10, and I am leaving a 40% tip. Am I being fair with a 40% tip?

  • Is it normal to hate your wedding dress before the wedding?

I am really starting to freak out. I am getting married in 2 months, and all the planning and detail work is right on track, and I have had my dress for about 3 months now. I all of a sudden (over the past 2 weeks) have begun to HATE my dress. I went for the first fitting, and I just did not feel beautiful. When I first bought it, I tried on dozens of gowns, and cried when I put it on, it was that beautiful.

Is what I am feeling normal? I know I am just freaking over nothing, because I cannot name one single feature about the dress that I don't like, just overall have begun to hate the thing. Any advise or stories anyone can share with me?

  • Wedding makeup and hair test?

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/10010649@N0...

I just had my hair and makeup done as a test for my wedding. The dress is strapless, so a down do makes sense. What do you guys think? Please, no cracks about how I look too young to get married, I am a lot older than I look.

  • Fight with Fiance? Need advise?

I just got in a little fight with my fiance, and feel horribly. He scheduled an appointment for me to go to the dentist and didn't tell me about it because he knows I am terrified of going. I fear it so badly, that I have to get gassed just for a cleaning. I found out about the appointment, canceled it because I had already made plans for the day. I just told him i canceled it and now I feel horribly because he was just trying to help me. Did I overreact a little bit? It was not a huge fight, just enough for me to tell he was not really happy and a little dissapointed.

  • Pedecure gone wrong?

I had my very first pedecure yesterday, and I am not sure if what is happening is normal or not. The guy who did my toe nails cut too close to the skin on my big toe, and he was hurting me when he was doing my cuticals. I asked him to stop and leave it alone, which he did, but last night my toe really hurt a lot and was red. Today, when I woke up, the whole side of my toe around the nail bed is inflamed and really swollen. Is this normal? Should I go in and ask for my money back, and report him to the health department? That is what one of my friends is saying, but that seems a little harsh. I am just not sure...has anyone had this happen, and if so, how did you handle it?

  • What will my tax bill be?

As many people know, forclosures in the USA are at unbelievable numbers right now, and I have the opportunity to pick up a house that is worth 700,000 dollars for about 40,000. Traditionally, tax bills from the city are based on the purchase price of the house, but I was told that it would be based on the value of the house, which goes against California Prop 13. Anyone know anything about this?

  • I need advise?

    I need advise, please help?

I need some advise, serious answers please. Me and my fiance announced our engagement to his mother a couple of days ago, and she is already asking about grandkids and has already NAMED them! It's a little creepy...it's not that i'm scared, we do eventually want kids, and have been dating for 9 years, so it's not a rush into it situation. We just don't want kids right now, and want them in 5 years or so, but according to mom (who is a devoted Mormon) says it would be fine with her if we got pregnant before the wedding. Mormons are strict for family after wedding, and she is basically saying to have as much sex as possible to produce a little "David" or "Isabelle" for her. How can I get her off our backs? At first it was funny and kinda cute, but now, it's getting old. Fast.

  • Please read...need advice?

I was watching tv tonight, and saw a scene that made me flash back to when I was 12. In middle school, 2 boys had cornered me and had tried to rape me, in the school on the abandoned stairwell to the 3rd floor. I got away before they could rape me, and had COMPLETELY forgotten about it until that scene on tv in the stares with the steel cages around. I am so freaked out right now....please help?

  • How would you rate your overall happiness with your significant other?

I read an article that said 80% was average, but I find myself a lot higher, which according to the article is just freaky for a mature relationship. I am curious...where would you rate, and how long have you been together?

I am at an overall happiness of 95%, together for 9 years

  • Would you help someone?

Today as I was leaving the grocery store on Xmas eve, I saw 2 undercover cops handcuffing someone who had tried to steal a package of meat so he could have a good xmas dinner for his family. I offered to pay the store for the meat, which was only about 8 bucks, but the store said they would press charges anyways. Why is that? Would anyone else offer to pay, as well, or do I just have a soft heart?
