How to tease fine hair and make it stay?
I'm doing hair for a photo project and I wanted some tips on how to tease fine hair and make it stay? The models that I will be working with has straight shoulder length hair.
Do I start out with clean dry hair, add mousse, tease, and then hairspray?
and do combs work better or brushes to tease the hair?
I'm looking to do a really dramatic tease hair look! Thank you!

First You will have to take a section of your hair
Spray hair spray at the roots front and back if you wish
Comb it backwards in the back and in the front!
Leave it like that and do to the rest of your hair
now style it
Ta-da you are done

Okay, use a comb. Usually the finer the better. Now, it's best if their hair isn't completely clean. I'd suggest washing the hair the day before. In my opinion there's no need for moose. It'll make the hair clump. Just put the heads upside down spray with a little bit of hairspray.. don't overdo it. Then once the person is up again start teasing as hard as your arms can. It usually hurts when people tease your hair, but it's a good sign. You can also layer the hair, like first pin up the top and work on the bottom and then work your way up. When your teasing the hair, also spray the hair with a whole lot of hairspray while the comb is still in the hair. Like have someone else spray the hair while your teasing it (just the section your teasing) And then spray everything like crazy when your done..... this will give you a very.. dramatic teased look. Good luck :)

before drying the hair use some type of root booster, the blowdry. start at the apex of the head and take small sections of hair, pull it straight up, spray with hairspray, the use a comb from ends to scalp until you have a complete mess!!!! Then you will smooth it out with the end of the comb. This is what works for me! Hope it helps!
