Does anyone know of a cricket ranch in the Texas area (or Kansas or Oklahoma)???
I am looking to buy crickets closer in where I live. I buy over the internet but they come from Ohio or California. Most of the time most arrive dead. I want to find someone closer to Texas (or our boardering states) like Oklahoma or Kansas. Where I buy I always have them shipped in overnighters and Fedex is bad at getting them off the runways. I ask them not to use Fedex but they all say no. Fedex lets them sit in the sun too long when unloading them from the plane, then in a hot van all day and dont deliver them until late in the afternoon. Here in texas it is already in the high 90's. The companies always try to replace them free but the same thing keeps happening-arriving dead. Also they place huge potatoes instead of cricket keeper in the box and the potatoes end up crushing them. I could buy at Petsmart, but I need 1000 at a time for my frogs. Help

I'm assuming you probably live in Texas. If you happen to live in Dallas-Fort Worth, e-mail me. I know a lady who breeds crickets and sell a thousand for either $15 or $20, I can't remember which. And she bags 'em up for you right there, so all of them will be alive and well.
