Catcher....He protects the golden base called home, Also, imagine how many wild pitches a pitcher would throw if there was no catcher!

Pitcher, cause if he doesn't have his stuff together on the mound and throw the pitch where the catcher tells him, then it's gonna be a long day. Pitcher not only takes the order, but must be able to apply the action.

Probably thru rest of season. David Wright has it right. It's not Randolph's fault that the TEAM is not got it together. The team as a whole has not been playing up to their potential, so they are to blame. But ultimately, Randolph will lose his job.

Talented player. He was supposed to be this good last year, but has really shown what he can do this year. We knew he had it, it was a matter of time.

8. Josh Hamilton = Talented player or Lucky, Why?

Talented player. He also is a highly touted star from the minors. He came in hitting well, but striking out a lot and got hurt last year, but has emerged this year as a leader on the Rangers staff.

9. Ryan Ludwick = Talented player or Lucky, Why?

Talented. He needed to get his playing time. He was always just a filler until this year, now they reap the benefits of putting him in almost every game.

10. Marlins, Rays = Talented teams or Lucky, Why?

Rays are talented, and have been for a while now, they just needed a few pieces of the puzzle to get things started. Marlins are lucky. They are always a thrown together, young staff, that knows that their job is never secure. So,. they will come back down to earth and be in 3rd place by end of season.

Finally, Lets Go Play Baseball. RR

1. AL East, but the NL doesn't get as much love as it should.

2. NL Central is deeper and more talented.

3. NL West has the best team in baseball right now. (Arizona)

4. Catcher. Not only does he call the game and catch the ball, he sets the pace and keeps the pitcher in line.

5. Willie won't make it past this year. It's sad for him that he's in NY cause that is a tough place to manage in either league. The media makes it so hard. He will be a great manager, just not with a NY team.

6. Only for home runs. Some of those shots down the line are really hard to call.

7. Carlos Quentin = Lucky. I don't think he really has the tools to be a great hitter.

8. Josh Hamilton = Talented, he was overdue. The question is if he can keep it up over more than one season.

9. Ryan Ludwick = Talented. He's got a good bat, and now he's got confidence in himself.

10. Marlins, Rays = Marlins are lucky, they are still young and very green. Rays are talented and very deep, but they lack experience.

With the Sox, Rays, and Oriloes you can't beat them. Also you can never count the Yankees out.

Tight one, but Arizona is too good so the NL West.

Shortstop is a leadership postion, like Quarterback or point guard, so I choose that over Pitcher.

Willie...'till the end of this year. I don't know who will replace him though.

I'm mixed on the Marlins. They have young, talented guys but I think they are also lucky. The Rays are talented with defense, offense, and pitching.

7. Carlos Quentin--Lucky. I've never been too impressed with him up until this season. I just don't see it lasting the entire season.

9. Ryan Ludwick--Talented. I don't have any real reason to say one or the other...I just feel that he has talent.

10. Marlins, Rays--Talented. They've got young players with talent and I think it'll make them playoff contenders a few years down the road.

10. Have to say lucky for both because they still need a year to develop, but I'll say Rays will finish at 500 and Marlins fade.

4- The Pitcher, obvious. Besides the pitcher, the Short Stop, sets up double plays which are needed in jams.

5- In New York, I am surprised he lasted this long. I have nothing against him.

7- Talented. First pick in the draft and now showing his talent. Has a lot of presence at bat.

9- Wasn't Tony La Russa the coach of that Athletics team with Conseco and McGwire... And wasn't McGwire his guy? This guy's stats started picking up when Tony got to him... You can take that however you want. (And yes I am a Cards hater and think La Russa is classless)

10- Lucky, New Yorks lack of pitching finally gave the Rays a chance and the Marlins are just lucky.
