He will have to publicly consider it to assuage the feelings of Clinton supporters, but he will not really mean it and won't actually offer it to her. She stands for much of what he is against and it would damage his change message. I think the "dream ticket" would be a nightmare. Hill and Bill in the VP slot. They would just be plotting in the wings...

No, Barrack Obama should not choose Hillary Clinton as Vice President and here is why;
1. Clinton does not want to be the Vice President. She has had her eye on the presidency since her husband Bill left office in 2001.
2. America does not need to have another Clinton in office. Since 1982, America had had either a Bush or a Clinton as an executive.
1982-1989: George H.W. Bush was the Vice President of the United States.
1989-1993: George H.W. Bush was the Vice President of the United States.
1993-2001: Bill Clinton was the President of the United States
2001 to 2009: George W. Bush was President of the United States.
If Hillary is the Vice President and serves two terms and then wins in 2016 and serves two terms, America would have had over 40 years in which America's executive was either a Clinton or a Bush and America needs a leader that is not related to George W. Bush or Bill Clinton from 2009 to 2013.

With the "Assassination-Gate"; I'm incline to say no! Besides' Obama message and theme represents change from the status quo of Washington politics. The Clintons and McCain; equate to the very essence of what's wrong with our country's ability to lead us in the positive direction. Furthermore, Obama's Presidency would be curtailed with the ghost of Bill Clinton floating around the White House. There are better alternatives.

I'd say no. Hypothetical scenario:
Obama (Black) becomes US President. Blacks in the US do not riot and everything goes all right. Obama, out of sympathy, chooses Hillary as his VP. In June 2009 Obama is assassinated and Hillary (White) gets the white house.

Heck(ll) No !!! If he's smart he would look at maybe John Edwards, the man has the moral values that we need at least looking over the presidents shoulder and advising him. He would always have to watch his back with Hillary back there wanting his job. You've got to admit, when the woman puts her mind to something she goes for it with her whole being.Also I don't believe that leaders of male dominated countries will show her the respect that our VP would deserve. It could cause problems.

I think the better question is should Hillary consider being his VP if asked? He actually needs Hillary to win key states. He is a very weak candidate, he will lose come November. He won't know what hit him when the Republicans get ahold of him. The young voters and the Black vothers won't be enough to get him into office.

Obama has already made the VP deal with Bill "Judas" Richardson. I used to like Richardson but now that he stabbed Bill Clinton in the back that shows me that Bill "Judas" Richardson has no character and I despise Judas. Richardson fell out of the race because nobody was interested in voting for him but Obama will pay him back for endorsing Obama after Clinton beat Obama in Texas and Ohio. It's politics as usual and Obama made a deal with Judas and Richardson will be the VP selection. It will be an all minority ticket. There will be significant white flight from the dem party. And with any luck Clinton will run as an independent and that will take plenty of votes from Obama/Richardson.

I think he'll have to consider her just out of her courtesy, but I'm not sure if it will go beyond that. She gives me the feeling that the VP spot is beneath her.

The last time the Dems did a "Dream Ticket" you ended up with Kennedy/Johnson, who happened to hate each other.
Obama and Hill hate each other. It won't happen.
