Lost my sound on my computer after installing a CD-R/RW-burner?
I removed my CD-ROM and installed a CD burner in its place. Now there is no sound at all on my computer. I checked configuration panel and it tells me that new hardware is working correctly. I am sure I did something wrong as my sound worked until then. I would appreciate any kind of help on this. Thanks.

Did you connect or disconnect the audio sound cable on the the back of your CD-ROM

The link doesn't show your device, but the principle is the same.
It either connection to the motherboard sound connector pins or the sound card.
See your CD-ROM instructions and motherboard manual.
