MacBeth possessed a charcateristic trait called the TRAGIC FLAW. The tragic flaw is a flaw in a character that leads to his/her fall at the end. As the character develops in the exposition and moves on to the more problems the character faces in the climax, the character's tragic flaw prevents him/her to find any other solutions to the problem. Ultimately the tragic hero is repsonsible for his death, caused by his own tragic flaw.
