Evolution tacks a very long time.If you wont proof, Tack a look at the differences in development stages of a developing fetus.Human and Chimpanzee. All sperm looks the same.No mater the animal it starts out as a mass of cells.A guppy.A salamander. The tail disappears and it looks like a frog. After this stage it starts to tack the form of the adult. At this point an Ape and Human look smilier.Humans will have a larger cranial. After birth the development is smilier. The Ape will walk and clime first and the learning skills are faster.Around the age of 2 the human baby will pass the Ape in development and learning skills.Look up on line the Learning Chanel,NOVA,and The Science Chanel.Look up fetus development.

We didn't evolve from the apes - we ARE apes - just a very specific kind. Us and the other ones around here evolved from something else, a couple million years ago, that was a little like both.

We humans filled a different niche to the others and we evolved in a different direction. We fill our niche very well. They fill theirs very well too.

Damn good question. Here's the answer: because human's didn't evolve from monkey's/apes. Evolution is like the quote: Necessity is the mother of invention... Darwin thought it was necessary to minus God from the equation so he invented a theory and evolved into an ***.

It is called dichotomy. Not every single animal is going to have the mutation in its DNA. It happens in every species. Lizards probably evolved from gators and crocodiles and they are still around.

and to all you self-righteous creationists: I realize there may be flaws with the Theory of evolution, but there are way more with creationist beliefs, in my opinion. The biggest being there is no scientific evidence to back it up. I, for one, am proud that i am evolved from great apes because they are easily some of the most intelligent creatures in the animal kingdom. Some are smarter that you. (sorry, asker. this isn't directed at you unless you asked it to get a rise out of evolutionists.)

well remember evolutions a theory backed up by piles of evidence.but still a theory. but to answer your question, because we are a different species. we have just evolved differently from the other primates because of situations our ancestors had to adapt to.in the theory of evolution everything evolved from a common ancestor. but then branched out to create all the species we see today and then some. we did not evolve from the apes we see today we evolved from primates from a very long time ago as did apes and monkeys. we just turned out the dominant species.

Had this been true.. one day.. we humans would evolve into 'aliens'!!

Charles Darwin's theory is just a theory - far away from reality. He proposed what his little knowledge at that time.. permitted him to believe. Religions of the world have different stories to say. And because we practise religion (any), and we dont really (scientifically) know - how and from whom we evolved.. its better to stick to what our respective religions have to say about it! I think.. knowing from whom we evolved.. wont make us more or lesser - as 'evolved' as we ARE... Isnt it?

We did NOT evolve from monkeys. Try reading the book Case For A Creator, all the SCIENTIFIC research in the book. The author was an atheist when he started the book.

Source(s): Your forgetting the author was an ATHEIST when they were doing the research (from top notch people in their fields). Humans evolved from apes?? Then what did apes evolve from?

Why don't you read some of the answers from the 137 times that this exact same question has been asked. I got the top answer on one occasion, but I cant be bothered finding it or re-typing it.

Evolution is only a theory of a man. Truth is that God breathed into a hand full of dirt, and it became a man in the image of God. God then pulled a rib from the man and formed a woman. Then God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply."
