Someone at work was talking about a girl and I was mistaken to be that girl. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Do I correct the people who heard it by telling what I know, or do I just let it blow over because my life isn't any of their business either way?

Trying to straighten this out will only stir the pot.

just dont really have a reaction to it. if its not true you have no reason to care. if you get all defensive they may think its true, but if your just like "whatever. if you say so. i know the truth" eventually itll hush down and theyll move on to something else.
dont let it phase you...plus, who cares what they think?? you know who you are
