Abused rattlesnake?

Hicks are pretty low on the intelligence pole. Since I've moved to Arkansas I've met alot in the area. Anyway, there are alot of ignorant people out there that don't have regard for much of anything else that they don't know anything about. It's pretty sad to see people getting enjoyment out of disfiguring a rattlesnake. Makes you wonder which is more of an animal..

I couldn't find the story Tammy, which is just as well, I'm already depressed enough just hearing about it. Like PK said, you think you've seen it all... super-glueing kittens eyes closed, starving animals to death, tossing them out of moving cars onto freeways, leaving them to walk around with broken bones... it gets so depressing sometimes I can barely stand it, & you just wonder what rock these people crawled out from under.

I hate to see any living creature suffer, especially needlessly. But I'm more than happy to make an exception in the case of people who hurt animals (or children, or anyone that can't defend themselves.) I know there is a big rattlesnake roundup every year somewhere (I don't remember where, probably TX or somewhere like that) & it's just incredible the way these people derive such JOY from torturing & killing these poor snakes. They truly have no conscience about it whatsoever. Very scary people. They think it's perfectly alright to kill an animal b/c it's potentially harmful to humans, but you know a snake or any other animal would never torture & kill something just for "fun." So who REALLY ought to be the ones that are killed? I'd rather take my chances with the rattlesnake than some moron that's so ignorant he would harm a snake like that. (It's just especially devious, rendering the snake totally helpless, then SEWING!? its mouth shut?!) I had a friend that used to shoot poachers (mainly elephant poachers) in Africa. Well, he was the helicopter pilot that flew the guy who actually shot them. You all know about that~ they take a chain saw & cut their tusks out of their heads (they go way, way up into their skulls) then leave them there to die like that. Anyway, maybe that's the answer? If someone is that cruel, they shouldn't be allowed in civilized society. Anyone wanna go hunting?!

Every time I think I've seen or heard it all, some freak comes up with something new. There has to be a special corner of hell put aside for these monsters.

Just one more reason why I like most animals better than humans. I am not sure what is wrong with people, but it really is sad that their are people who act this way.

I nearly fell outta my seat when i read this..dang how cruel and inhumane can people be..they should be hog tied to a tree with a hundred rattlesnakes around them..

Man , people are heartless . That rattlesnake should of bit the idiot a couple of times .

IDK what's wrong with people or thsi world, cuz for some odd reason it is 'ok' to do that to animals but not people. I really wish I lived in a world were u could kill anyone u wanted for anyreason and get no punishment.

OMG! Why would somebody do this?!! That poor snake. I hope they find who did this and they are punished!
