What are some of the current uses of Open Source Java?

I am writing a presentation for my Java Programming class, and am having a very hard time actually finding anything that I can use on Open Source Java. I was wondering if anyone could list a couple current uses or Open Source Java. Anything you can think of would be quite helpful.

Update:

If you by chance have any sources or articles about OSJ then please add them as well.

Thanks to anyone who answers.

If you are talking about open source JVM then I think the blackdown JVM for linux is the one I saw. I don't think Sun's is OS/FS. If you are talking about Java as an implementation language/platform then known uses are almost limitless. Start with tomcat and go from there.
