My 18-year old son recently completed his basic training in the Air Force...?

He had an awesome wingman that helped him through some difficult times. His wingman is 28 with a wife and 2 small children. I would like to do something from our family to say thank you. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

I agree wal-mart gift card would be a great idea but at 28 with 2 small children.....i think I would go for a restraunt gift card. I am married to a soldier and we have a five year old, we don't get out much as money is tight. He would probably love to have a night alone with his wife!

I dont know what Kavekarst is talking about.

I really like the Wal Mart idea and I suggest giving the best answer to the person who mentioned it first.

Either a gift card at Wal-mart or a similar treat to a night out at a nice restaurant (not something you get to do often on military pay)

Good luck to your son and God bless!

Maybe a gift card at Wall mart because trying to support a family on an Airmans budget is hard.

Wal-mart proffering is an insult to some folks. Send flowers

via Western Union just like people did when Wal-mart wasn't available. Quality is as quality does.

Thank him for his service at the very least, it may not carry much weight but a few thanks can go really far when the military isn't wholly appreciated. Include a wal-mart gift card ;)
