I don't think it's about how you phrase things - if it was some people would never get answers!

I think its about the subject matter - it's whether or not the question grabs people so that an answer immediately comes to mind and they want to contribute.

For me, I think the least you put is always better. Try and come straight to the point in the first (bold) part of the question.

Sometimes when you have a typo or a gramaticall error people tend to get mean.

And sometimes people ask questions in a bad way that you dont wanna answer it.

I guess your question must be clear, to the point, and the title should not be too long and confusing, then explain further in the description or details...maybe you're not putting it in the right category

Try to keep it short, to the point and without tons of detail. Just enough to get the gist of the question.

I never answer questions written in text language because it makes my head spin. Are you asking obscure questions which few people could answer?
