In a certain lottery, there are ten balls, numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Of these five are drawn in order. If you pick five numbers that match those drawn in the correct order, you win $1,000,000. What is the probability of winning such a lottery?

    There are 10 ways to choose the first ball, times 9 ways to choose the second ball, times 8, times 7, times 6, equals 30240 ways to choose the five balls.

    Only one of these 30240 ways is the winner.

    1/30240 = 0.0000331 is your chance of choosing that winner.
