Asus EEE PC 20 G - Recommendations?
I have been looking to purchase a laptop and am seriously thinking about getting an Asus. It has a solid state drive so it's a little more durable.
I will be using it for light internet usage and word processing. Also I have 3 school aged kids so I'm thinking if they use it for homework or research, this would be durable.
I have a desk top so I don't need much more, right? And the price is pretty reasonable (under $600)
Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I forgot to add that I would like to use MS Powerpoint on this computer as well. I understand it is loaded with Linux products. And I have used Open Office (love it). But am also concerned if I can use MS Powerpoint on it without any problems.

it's really a great buy. i own one i really like it. it's very user-friendly so your kids will surely like it too. it's great for surfing the net and word processing. also, it has built-in wifi so internet on the go, and webcam so you can video chat. it has a built-in messenger called Pidgin--YM, Googletalk, msn, aim is supported. Great thing it has skype. eee pc is a very lightweight yet capable machine. highly recommended!
