I am a mom. I drive my 5th grade, 11 year old son and two other classmates from their school to band at another school.

Today one of these kids got his clarinet from my trunk and did not wait for my son to walk with him. They are do not hang out together but are in the same Boy Scout Troop.

I think this kid was rude. I told my son if he ever did that to someone else he would be in big trouble with me.

Do you think I'm right?

Where can I find information about the amount of fish which is disposed because it is no longer fresh? This would be caught fish that is put in the garbage because it's been in the freezer case too long.

We bought flannel sheets and are left with these lovely plastic packaging with the zipper on top. I would love some creative ideas to reuse them. Links would also be appreciated.

I have a dear friend who has a dream to teach Native Americans. She has been a teacher for many years and now has the time to pursue her dream. She is very respectful of Native American Culture and is a good teacher.

However, she does not have internet access at this time. Where can I look for job opportunities for her?

My 7yo soon to be 8yo son has been a victim of name calling since last year. He's been called an "idiot", "stupid," and now "gay."

Is this normal for little boys to be doing this to each other? My son doesn't do this and is upset, which he should be.

She is a widow and has raised 2 sons, who are both grown. Both sons have steady jobs but take advantage of their mother. She had been working steadily as a substitute teacher but recently has had to take a job because her hours were cut.

Her oldest son bought 2 dogs and left them with her to take care of. Her youngest son is a Marine and is borrowing money from her to pay his cell phone bill.

She is very private and does not want to ask for help from people.

I understand that she has let her sons take advantage of her. I understand that she has let them walk all over her.

I have known her sons since they were very small. We are not close but we have know each other a long time; my husband and I were friends with the father before he died of cancer. And we live around the block from each other so we would see each other often going to school and driving in the area.

My question:

Should I approach the son about his mother? Part of me would like to lay into him for taking advantage of his mom. The other part wants to remain calm and reason with him.

Do I intervene?

I have been looking to purchase a laptop and am seriously thinking about getting an Asus. It has a solid state drive so it's a little more durable.

I will be using it for light internet usage and word processing. Also I have 3 school aged kids so I'm thinking if they use it for homework or research, this would be durable.

I have a desk top so I don't need much more, right? And the price is pretty reasonable (under $600)

Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently downloaded Ad-Aware 2007. Does this replace Ad-Aware SE?

If so, do I need to uninstall Ad-Aware SE?

How do I get a yahoo widgets avatar buddy for my avatar? I've downloaded yahoo widgets but have no idea how to put my "buddy" on there.

Also, are you able to change the buddy's outfit. I'm hoping to put in an avatar like my hubby.

My yahoo 360 blog is a family and friends / invite only blog; I talk a lot about my children and their doings.

Yahoo has recently changed the friends of friends of friends settings (which to me was always like a public setting).

I feel comfortable with the friends of friends setting, which they still have in place.

My question - Has yahoo changed the friends of friends setting as well?
