Ad-Aware Question?

I have recently downloaded Ad-Aware 2007. Does this replace Ad-Aware SE?

If so, do I need to uninstall Ad-Aware SE?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-

Update:

Thank you very much for all your replies. Just note, that I do have AVG as well.

Again, I appreciate your helpfulness!

The new version once installed will replace the old version, like an upgrade to the program. At least that is how it worked for me.

Click on: Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

If both are listed, uninstall the old version. If this then causes problems with the new version, uninstall that and re-install.

Better still, ditch Ad-Aware and use AVG Anti-Spyware or SuperAntiSpyware. If you really want to keep Ad-Aware, use one of the others as well. Both have free versions so it won't cost you anything.

No it doesn't replace ad aware se it installs separately and if you want to you can have both running at the same time although i wouldn't recommend it as 2007 conflicts at the startup and you need to start it manually.

Since they are both made from the same company, I don't think it would let you keep an old version of its software. It will either tell you to remove it in the install (Add or remove programs...) or will do it automaticly
