Regarding Seafood Disposal?

Where can I find information about the amount of fish which is disposed because it is no longer fresh? This would be caught fish that is put in the garbage because it's been in the freezer case too long.

There is no data on seafood wastage at the home level, it will only keep in good quality depending on what it is up to 3 months.

However on the larger scale a buyer from the fisherman who has deep freeze storage wants the product sold and moved on to make a profit and room for more product. If he has an oversupply he won't buy more till stock is low again. It is called supply and demand. Fish that is "going off" is seldom offered for sale, it is easily identified by look and smell and bad for business. Self regulation in that type of business does work.
