What's your favorite Koontz book?

OK i just found out clearly, the Twilight series is not for me so now I guess ill pick me up another Koontz tomorrow to bide my time. I have read about 10 of his books and find him to be a great author. My question for you is what is your favorite book he's written and why?

One of my favorites, to date, is From the Corner of His Eye. It is so full of layers and seemingly random events which he ties together at the end. It was a truly amazing book.

I also enjoyed the entire Odd Thomas series so far (Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, Brother Odd, Odd Hours). Odd is a remarkable character; self-effacing and full of humor. They are really good.

Watchers and The Darkest Evening of the Year are both very good, especially if you love dogs the way I do. There are some other stories with dogs which I have yet to read, but am looking forward to reading. The Taking is another good, and very unique, story.

Phantoms is the scariest book by Dean Koontz that I've read. It's also very interesting. If you like scary, you may enjoy that.

If you haven't read it yet, you may also enjoy Life Expectancy. It's another excellent story.

I haven't read all of his books yet, but I'm working my way through them. I hope this helps. Happy reading.

One Door Away From Heaven is my favorite so far, as I've only read 3 of his books.

I enjoyed that it managed to blend so many stories of different people together and I got very involved rooting for one of the characters who was the most endangered for the longest time. I like that he doesn't just plumb the depths of evil and horror - he also brings light into the picture and leaves hope ther in the end!

Now I'm on a Koontz binge and have many more of his to read this summer from the library!

I also loved "From the Corner of His Eye." It's wonderful. The way he interweaves all the characters is great. It was a story I wasn't anticipating. I love that all his books have a touch of the supernatural in them as well.

You might also try "Seize the Night" & "Fear Nothing." The are companion books. The main character is basically allergic to sunlight so has learned how to embrace the night & all that it has to offer. The books start quickly & don't really slow down.
