i was visiting a friend yesterday and i noticed in the corner of her living room..?

there was a mushroom growing from the corner of her wall. Can't this be dangerous??? She has 4 kids at home too???

    Mushrooms grown in dark damp places. I hope you told her what you saw. A car I once owned had mushrooms growing in the trunk. We had to rip all the matting out, wipe everything down, and air it out a couple of days. Washing the area down with bleach should help.

    A mushroom?? I've never heard of that before. Did you ask her about it?? Mold is common, but Geeze! If she rents, she needs to get the landlord because that's a mold issue that far surpasses the norm. Yes, I would imagine that the damage from all that mold would be incredibly dangerous for the kids....mold can cause severe respiratory illness. Especially in kids.

    yes.there must be mold somewere over there also tell her to clean the corner with bleach and water to wash down the whole wall just to be on the safe side.

    Yikes! could be some mold/fungi thing that could be hazardous if a child ate it
