It's a fake... forward it to Yahoo Customer care... don't use the reply button, as that reply goes straight to the imposter. Look up the email address of yahoo Customer care and cut and paste the email !

Do NOT give them any info. It's a scam. They would never ask you those kinds of things. And they are trying to scare you into giving the info up by threatening to take your account away. Honestly, let's say you lose your yahoo account- is it the end of the world? No. But losing your identity can cause major problems in your life.

No, I didn't ge3t anything like that. It sounds like some kind of a scam to me. If you do not respond and they do cancel your account, screw them and go to G-mail, but I do not think that it is Yahoo. Maybe some yahoo at Yahoo will contact you and let you know what it is about. Me, I wouldn't respond to it myself. But do as y9u see fit and let the rest of us know what happens. But it just doesn't sound like Yahoo to me. Or maybe send them all false info. Or respond with questions for them. It doesnt have the look of a Yahoo message to me either. Send them bad information, that is my advice. Mess with them. Ask them if they want to meet you for a drink at some bar in Nigeria. Jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't send it out because someone is just playing a joke with you. It's just something stupid they sent you.
It won't be from another user it will say from customer care

Yeah, go right ahead and fill that out and you'll lose your account to some douchebag in about 3 seconds.
Forward that to spoof@yahoo.com
If it came from a supposed Yahoo account, forward to abuse@yahoo.com
If you can, forward both as attachments.

it's a scam to look for financial info in your e-mail etc.
notice the answers-alert@cc.yahoo-inc.com>
a legit sender would be @yahoo.com. the cc.yahoo-inc.com is just a lookalike domain.
That and a reputable service will never ask you for that info. they would ask you to log into the service in question and click some kind of renewel option, or provide a code to be entered to prove that your account is valid.

It's a scam, don't give them any info about you. If it really was Yahoo they would have all that data already.

This is not the first time someone has done this in an attempt to get people to give up their information. Yahoo says to report these emails when you get them.
