Just Curious???

Why aren't there ever any positive marriage questions? Most questions here are how to get a divorce or when to, cheating, masturbating, porn type questions.

Don't people have anything nice to say/ask about marriage?

Update:

Lene - this question was more food for thought but thanks for your arsey answer. You are right, it is "the marriage/DIVORCE" section, but it is also the MARRIAGE/divorce section. Please take a minute and notice the difference. Oh, I almost forgot DUHHH to you to, you polite and well mannered thing you.

O.K. I have been married for over 25 years and would not trade it for anything. I would never do anything to jeopardize my marriage or hurt my wife. Here is my philosophy on marriage: it is like a bank account, the more you put in the more you get out of it. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Because marriage is never easy. More than 50 percent of marriages end in divorce and the questions and problems that many people have are resulting in divorce. People are just trying to find answers in hopes of saving their marriage. If everything was perfect no one would have reason to be on here in the first place.

There are plenty of positive type questions things like its our 5th anniverary what should I get him. Or Do other wives do...for their man.

But usually these questions are passed over by us because there is no real substance to the question. In fact if I even answer these questions its to say, you've been married to him for 5 years and you expect strangers to know what he wants but you don't?

People with good marriages, and there a lots of them. Don't need advice on their marriage. So they don't ask questions of anonymous strangers.

Because the people doing well in their marriages don't really have any question about their relationship to ask. Most positive questions don't get very many responses either. Most people want to hear about other people's misery, sad to say.

I'm happily married 9 years. We get along very well, and talk about the things that bother us. Our relationship isn't perfect, but I wouldn't trade our life together for anything. We have 3 great kids, two wacky dogs, 2 fuzzy guinea pigs, a sly cat, and a house to keep them in. ;o)

No kidding! All the negativity towards marriage here is overkill. Cheating, threesomes, abuse, alcoholics, people simply bored in their marriages, the selfishness.

I love my husband and I love our marriage. It's been great. That alone makes me feel wonderful, thankful and blessed! :)
