how can you tell the difference between a guy liking you as a friend and a guy liking you as more?

Signs he likes you as more: Tries to get to know more about you, smiles at you whenever he talks to you, likes to spend more time with you than other girls, tries to keep the conversation going between you two.

Also, if you ask him who he likes and he likes you, he will either say you, or not give a definite answer, or might become a bit shy or a bit stunned by the question, if he is shyer.

^This is easy way to tell, and easily can be asked without ruining the friendship.

Just tell him what u feel--if he says he doesn't like u--then just tell him what made u think like that.

As simple as that---and a secret learn from me today---"There can not be more than friendship between a guy and a girl"---It has to be emotional attachment if it is more than just friendship.

When you tell frankly what u feel--then this more than friendship gets a name and recognition otherwise it stays as a misery most of the time---but one thing is for sure---it is not a friendship.

It all depends on the guy. Before I started dating my current girlfriend I used to have a few close female friends. Some of them thought I liked them, while some didn't.

In my opinion the best tell-tale sign is when you hang out one on one. If you haven't done so already, try to meet somewhere very casual to start (cafe, or maybe a non-romantic movie), then slowly make the meetings more and more personal. If he likes you he'll keep hanging out with you. If not then you'll know it.

Lol, I had the same problem! I still whished I could tell if he liked me more than a friend and is sucks cause u can't tell cause you've been friends with that person for so long. Just tell him how you feel, that's what I didn't and me and my friendship is going to our 4th year!
