Do English Cucumbers (supposedly burpless) make you have flatulence?

I stopped eating regular cucumbers because I got tired of tasting them all day. But now these ones make me so gassy I can't hardly stand being in the same room with myself!

Just wondering if anyone else has this experience? Is there no such thing as a gas-less cucumber??

    If you use a cucumber too roughly, it will fill you with air. you need to do things much more gently. I only allow my girls access to cucumber under the strictest supervision. Wind can cause embarrassment.

    I wish there was a gasfree variety. =)

    English seem to bother me less; only have stomach aches with the reg. kind.
