30 days of night?

I think this film got a bit of a mixed reaction - I loved it, it kept me interested all the way through. The ending was a bit, er, 'unnecessary'? But apart from that I'd recommend it as a movie. It's not particularly scary, the vampires look pretty creepy though - they're not the typical kind of sexy vampires you would find in Anne Rice adaptations, Moonlight & Blood Ties, these vampires are more animalistic and completely brutal. So basically, it's a good movie but not scary at all.

I liked it- quite fast paced, some nice action, but predictable in places, not too many shocks really, but quite a lot of fun. I was cheering for the vampires all the way, they do pretty well... went out and got the comic book the film is based on, and the comic's pretty good too, but I think the film actually improved on it in some respects- there are extra action scenes which work pretty well that the book doesn't feature, though the book's art is tremendous, and it seems to add a little more background, as well as having a different boss vampire.

If you decide to watch the film, look out for the vampire who looks just like Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream! Terrifying!

I watched it last night, and really enjoyed the movie. The movie was not scary, but some scenes were a bit disturbing to me, such as the child vampire, and the little girl Gail looked creepy.

Only dislike I had about the movie was the vampires appearance, they looked more like characters from hellraiser then Vampires, but other then that the movie is worth watching.

everyone thought it was going to be a good movie and once they watched it they did not like it.

at least that's a lot of the reaction i was surrounded by. take your own risk, i liked it though. so what if the ending is eh.

Honestly, this movie more than any other made me feel soooo dark and disgusting. It was well made, and visually a good movie, but it just felt evil... so in spite of the visual element, I don't suggest it for others to watch.

"30 Days of Night" had me from"hello". It was dark and moody and at times.downright terrifying.And they used a riff from Bram Stoker's "Dracula" to good effect

i liked it but why care what others think the only way you will know is to watch it!

it starts off really well, and the exits the anus like a hot burrito
