First- Don't EVER be embarrassed to tell your mom! She probably remembers how hard it was telling HER mom that she needed one too!
Ok, you're ready to wear a bra when your breasts start going into little buds (start raising from your chest). Here's an easy way: Put on a shirt without anything under. If you can see the nipple pretty clearly, you need one.
I suggest you first wear a training bra, even if your breasts aren't budding. It doesn't "train" your breasts to do anything. It helps you get comfortable with a bra until your breasts come in.
Hope I helped!

i'd say if you jump and you can feel your boobs move, than you need to wear a bra, also it kind of depends on your age, if your like under 10 and flat chested than you dont need to wear a bra but if your a teenager with a small chest you should still probably wear a bra. as for the asking your mom, just do it, i'm sure she knows the day is coming when you'll need to wear a bra, dont be embarrassed all girls wear them

Dont Be scared to tell your mom . You can try on a small bra like an AA or A cup and see if it fits.

dont be afriaid to talk to ur mom about it. if its not really needed like a lot, then start with a training bra without cups.

Not sure where you live but a store called "Gilly Hicks" has fairly cheap bras that have good pricing. Any outlet mall should have good stores for cheap pricing. Good luck.

don't be scared, trust me. honestly you know if you need a bra. if you are feeling insecure or self-conscience about not having one, then it is time.
*** if it helps, i started in 3rd grade. i developed very quickly.

Don't be embarrassed! You could also always just go to Macy's and start trying them on... the lingerie department is usually very busy so you don't have to really worry about being seen or having to talk to anyone.

if you feel like you should be wearing one, then you need one. but then again, there are people in 9th grade who still dont wear them. its a matter of opinion... i started in sixth grade. or i suppose, whenever you can see that you have them through a shirt.

Well if you "poke out" in your shirts you need one and just tell your mom, when i did those many years ago she wasnt all intrusive like i thought... she went out and bought me some...
