How many stamps should I use for postage?

Ok, the price of stamps went up earlier this month. However, I have first class stamps that I bought in March. They do not say how much they are worth on them. So, to mail a postcard, would I just use one stamp or should I use two just to be safe?

If the first class stamps you bought are the "forever" stamps, they're still good for first class postage.

Even if they're not, the previous first-class rate of 41 cents is still more than the current postcard rate of 27 cents, so one will do.

The cost to mail a letter is 42 cents

    A postcard cost 27 cents

The stamps you bought in March probably cost you 41 cents

    Thanks for the thumbs down.

I work for the postal service
