I'm a freshman in college. I'm going to go to college for Information Security & Technology. I love musicals like RENT and Hairspray. I also love The Butterfly Effect, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more. Music wise, I love rock and techno. I refuse to listen to rap or country, that's a waste of music. I also enjoy movie soundtracks and classical/instrumental music.

  • If I stop taking my BC a week into the pack, how quickly can I get pregnant?

So I was off of BC for a month because my doctor wanted to see if the pills were contributing to headaches I was having. They weren't, so I went back on them. However, after a week starting the pills again, my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to start trying for a baby. So I stopped taking the pills. Now that I've been off the pills for a few days, I've started bleeding. I don't think it's my period because I had my last one just 2 weeks ago. We've now been having sex about twice a day in our attempts, but would this current bleeding prevent me from getting pregnant?

  • Pat's Philly cheese steaks?

So I'm going to be in Philadelphia this week and I was just curious about Pat's King of Steaks pizza steak. Does it have onions like the other steaks do?

  • What's a point-and-shoot camera that's good in low light?

My boyfriend recently damaged my Kodak EasyShare M853, which was pretty good in low light situations. I had previously been using Fujifilm FinePix cameras before that, which I were pleased with. However, when I went to go look to replace my Kodak with another Fuji, it seems that Fuji has gone to crap and the one camera that is good in low light (Z220fd) isn't even available in stores.

I've looked at Sony Cyber-shots (I'd get one if they used SD cards), Nikon Coolpix, Olympus FE5010, among many others. It seems the Coolpix sucks. I just don't know what to get.

I'm looking in the $100-$200 range. What is a good camera to get for shooting in low-light situations (something I do frequently)?

  • Urinary tract infections in cats?

My kitty, Tucker, is about 7 months old. Since he was 5 months old, he's had a few accidents around the house. Most of the time, the accidents are in the same spot (on our dog's pillow) but recently he peed on my bed. He lays around the house, cries at me when he sees me, doesn't want to eat, and seems to be in pain. He does, however, still sleep with me and the dog (they cuddle when they sleep together so I don't think he's being spiteful by peeing on her bed). He's currently on antibiotics and he was seeming to be more of himself but today, he's back to acting all sickly.

We've tried antibiotics before now (about a month ago) but it hasn't done anything. We also had him neutered at 5 months because we thought he was spraying (turns out he wasn't).

He likes everyone in my family and he and the dog are like litter mates so it's not like he's got a grudge against any of us. Do you think he could have some sort of urinary tract disease? It doesn't seem to be a simple infection. The vet doesn't know what to do about it. We're going to have to get him put down if he goes outside his box one more time. I don't want to lose my baby kitty so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Zune startup issues...any ideas?

So my boyfriend left his car window down and it rained on the passenger seat. He got in his car and set his 4 GB Zune into the puddle. The back of the Zune got wet as did the bottom part of the touch pad. Now it won't turn on unless it is plugged into the computer.

As long as it's plugged into the computer, it works just fine. However, when it is unplugged, it just freezes, goes black, and turns off.

I tried to restart it, but it still won't respond. I also tried to reset it, but that didn't work either. I don't understand why it would still work connected to the computer if it was due to water damage, unless the battery was fried or something.

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do to get it to work? The warranty just ran out a few days ago.

  • Has anyone heard of the EM Convo in Detroit, MI?

I plan on attending a concert in May (Fall Out Boy, Metro Station, Hey Monday, Cobra Starship, and All Time Low) in Detroit. The location is listed as the EM Convo, but I've never heard of that place. Have you? If you have, where is it located at? Also, is it like an arena, a theater, an amphitheater, etc...?

  • Bottle feeding a 6 week old kitten?

Yesterday I got my kitten. Up until yesterday, he had been with his mother and twin. He eats both dry and wet food, but tries to suck off of my fingers. Tucker's just over 6 weeks old.

Would it be alright if I got a kitten bottle and fed him water out of it? I don't necessarily want to give him formula because I don't know if it'll make his tummy upset. Or should I just let him keep biting my fingers while trying to suckle them?

  • What kind of kitten food?

So soon I'll be getting a kitten and I don't know what kind of food to get. I've read that some brands of wet kitten food can give kittens diarrhea, but I don't know which brands those are. Do you know what kind of wet kitten food wouldn't give my kitten diarrhea? Does it vary by the kitten?

My friend is currently attempting to feed the litter Disney Aristocats kitten food. We aren't sure how they react to it yet since they won't actually taste it. Has anyone ever fed this to their cats? I'm debating on keeping my kitten on that brand when I get him.

  • How much would it cost to take my new kitten to the vet for shots?

So today my friend's cat had kittens. I'm going to be taking her dark-grey one when it's old enough. I'm assuming that my friend won't take the kitten to the vet for its shots so I'll have to pay for it. Does anyone know about how much that runs? Also, since the kitten is male, it will eventually have to be neutered and I'm going to get him declawed (the front claws are definitely going to go). What does that run as well? I've had a cat before but it's been ages so I don't know what we payed when I had my first cat. Any info at all would be super appreciated.

  • Is it from my concussion?

On July 20, I was in a car accident and got a concussion. Obviously my head was quite sore where I hit it but the soreness went away for about a week and a half. Now out of nowhere, my head is very tender where I had hit it. Is that normal with a concussion?

Also, I am prone to migraines. Earlier I thought I had a migraine but now I'm not so sure. My head's hurt for 3 days (with migraine-like symptoms) but then today the throbbing got worse and I puked. That happened twice and my head still hurts. Could that be part of the concussion as well? Usually I don't puke when I have my regular migraines.

  • What are the laws pertaining to cemeteries?

So a police officer in a township told me and my paranormal research group that it was illegal to be in ANY cemetery in Michigam after dark, even if it was public property. However, when we got to our hometown and went to the police dept. to see if we could visit a local cemetery, they basically said to go have fun and that they'd let dispatch know.

So I went to look up Michigan's laws pertaining to cemeteries and I couldn't find what the township officer had been talking about. All I found was that it was illegal to hop fences and we hadn't been hopping fences or anything. I then went to look up federal law, and I couldn't find anything there.

So does anyone know what the law pertaining to cemeteries is? I'm so confused because of the contradicting statements from both officers.

  • How can I get to sleep with my migraine?

I've currently had my migraine for 9 days straight and tonight is exceptionally hard. I've been trying to fall asleep for the past 4 hours but I just can't seem to because of the intensity of the pain. My pillows feel like rocks no matter which way I arrange them. Pain medications do not help my migraines. Does anyone know a way for me to fall asleep?

  • Is it hard to live on a dairy-free diet?

My doctor believes I may have a food allergy and so I went gluten free for two weeks and then started adding gluten back into my diet. I still felt horrible so now she has me eliminating dairy from my diet for two weeks and slowly adding it back. Is it hard to be dairy free? I looked at the labels of the foods in my house and it seems all of them have dairy somewhere in them. If you're currently dairy free, what do you usually have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

  • How many stamps should I use for postage?

Ok, the price of stamps went up earlier this month. However, I have first class stamps that I bought in March. They do not say how much they are worth on them. So, to mail a postcard, would I just use one stamp or should I use two just to be safe?

  • What kind of doctor would handle scapula (shoulder blade) problems?

My regular doctor referred me to a specialist for my shoulder blade pain, but I can't remember the name of the specialty. I'm pretty sure it wasn't an orthopedist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fairness in picking a reception site?

My mom's side of the family lives 5 hours away. Everybody else who'd be attending the reception all live in the same city (and there are about 50 guests total). There's a reception venue that I love (the Toledo Zoo) and is 2 and a half hours away. Having the reception at the zoo would mean equal driving distance for everyone. Would that be fair to have everyone drive the same distance?

Also, the wedding itself would be at a courthouse in the early morning, so none of the guests would be there for that. After the ceremony, we'd drive down to the site. The reception would not last late into the evening and there'd be no alcohol available for people to get intoxicated, so nobody would be driving home drunk.

  • Can it still be 18+ reception if there's no alcohol?

So let's say one side of the family is rather large and has about 20 children. The bride and groom cannot afford to pay for those children and the parents don't want to pay the money for their kids to eat. Hiring a babysitter and having a party elsewhere for the kids is not an option because it's not in the budget.

Now let's say that there are multiple family members who would over indulge and so the bride and groom do not want alchol present because of the over-indulgers, and because some of the under 21 crowd would also get trashed.

So, if it's called an adult reception but no alcohol is being served, do you think the guests would argue with it and demand that their young children attend to? And if they were to argue and complain, would it be alright to tell them not to even bother with coming?

  • What if you're not into rings and such?

First of all, I've never been big on jewelry and I don't like things on my hands to begin with. So what do I do about the whole engagement and wedding rings deal? I mean, I don't have to worry about it now but I will later this summer when my boyfriend plans on proposing. I just don't know what to do. He knows I don't like jewelry but I think he'd still get me a ring. What would I do with it, just keep it in its box somewhere safe?
