Is it from my concussion?
On July 20, I was in a car accident and got a concussion. Obviously my head was quite sore where I hit it but the soreness went away for about a week and a half. Now out of nowhere, my head is very tender where I had hit it. Is that normal with a concussion?
Also, I am prone to migraines. Earlier I thought I had a migraine but now I'm not so sure. My head's hurt for 3 days (with migraine-like symptoms) but then today the throbbing got worse and I puked. That happened twice and my head still hurts. Could that be part of the concussion as well? Usually I don't puke when I have my regular migraines.
As far as my migraines go, I've been to several doctors (including a neurologist) and they can't figure out why I have them. I just get them for whatever reason and most medicines for migraines don't offer much relief.
Anyway, my regular doctor said that I'd feel symptoms for awhile but she never mentioned vomitting as one of them. Thanks for trying to help though.

We watch TV adn Movies and see people get hit on the head (quite hard) and they get up and are just fine. Unfortunately in real life things can be very different. A concussion is a brain injury and there is a growing body of evidence that there can be long and lasting problems for some people after they take a hit to the head. You should see you doctor and it might be wise to get an MRI and possibly further testing to see if there is a fixable problem going on or if you just happen to have migraines. Which can also be fixed sometimes. Good luck.
