Again I ask, how many of Mr. Obama's associates will he have to deny are his friends?

The priest in that video should be defrocked, if he wants to go into politics, let him wear their suits of shame, not hide behind God.

Sounds like a character flaw....to have so many associates you need to deny when the light is shined on them.

By staying in the church he was in, Obama sadly was catering and courting this crowd. Now he want's to distance himself for political reasons.

I want a President that has the moral courage to stand up for what is right without having to light it up first on the political radar. Sorry Obama, you don't have what it takes. By the way, I'm not a McCain fan either...he wanted to give amnesty to millions of law breakers in this country illegally so he's far from perfect either.

Watching this, I was struck by how the congregation reacted. I tried to imagine if it were a predominately white church and the roles were reversed. What would the backlash be?

Also, I think people are stirring up anger that is unnecessary. Many white people are turned off by seeing the reaction of the congregation. Whether one has sympathy from wrongs of the past or even the present, there is still this reality--not everyone finds Obama's denouncements credible at this point. And many will believe that he hates white people in his heart.

If you think the Republicans won't use all of this, I would like to sell you some dirt from my yard.

It's a bit unfair. Racism exists and it is hurtful and hateful. The blacks have endured it for years and still do. Denial will not affect the reality.

I have no opinion this. It's unfortunate but I think I understand where the attitude is coming from. Being excluded based on a factor that you can't control is very painful.

I'm still waiting for him to deny his wife. I'm sure it will come the closer we get to November.

About as many as McCain and not as many as Hillary.
