All-Time Dream Pitching Duel?

I love baseball and being a Dodger fan LOVE pitching. What is your All-Time Dream Pitching Duel?

My top one is late 1960's Sandy Koufax vs early 2000's Randy Johnson.

Randy Johnson in his prime vs. Nolan Ryan in his prime. Lots of strike outs....... just dont get Ryan mad or else. Just ask Robin Ventura lol.

Kraven Moorehead: Check out Koufax's stats sometime. It took him longer to find his command than it did for Johnson.

There are a lot of dream pitching matchups I would like to see. Let's go with a double header. Game 1 would be Walter Johnson vs Sandy Koufax (in his prime) since they both pitched before my time. In the nightcap we'd have Cy Young vs Warren Spahn.

1969 Tom Seaver versus 1995 Greg Maddux. The thinking man's pitcher of the 1960s-70s (and well into the 1980s before it fell apart), watching Seaver match wits with the thinking man's pitcher of the past 20 years would be more of a treat than a power versus power pitching matchup.

Source(s): Baseball (and fan of both Tom Seaver and Greg Maddux)!

as much as i do no longer basically like the Yankees, i would be observing this sport (with the mute on) and rooting for the Yankees. This season has long previous via so rapid, and that i won't be able to have self belief this is already going to be torn down so quickly! i became in no way waiting to circulate and get a image of myself interior the stadium. Too many strategies there. i might like the sport to be all Orioles, and that they might have a 6-0 lead in the 9th. Then the 1st 2 Yankee batters, whoever they are, will strike out. Then that's going to be a slugfest for the Yankees till they tie it up at 6 apiece. After this of direction, greater innings! The Orioles will score 5 greater runs in the fifteenth inning, off Joba. Then the hitters will come via. as quickly as lower back, the 1st 2 will strike out. the 1st one hits a double, and then the 2d hitter hits a triple scoring the guy on 2d. Then a single follows, making the Yanks basically down via 3 runs! 2 singles in a row load the bases. and then, pinch hitter Juan Miranda will hit a walk off grand slam and the Yankees will win! won't be able to somebody dream somewhat?

Bob Gibson(1968 with the 1.12 ERA) vs Steve Carlton(1972 when he won a 46% of the Phils victories). Both former Cardinals but a huge fan of Lefty because he was a Phil.

Koufax is the greatest pitcher who ever lived....hands down. It took Johnson like 6 years to find his command.
