It's time to distance yourself from him as much as possible for now. Yes, he is acting immature but, is obviously hurt by whatever happened between you two. In time, possibly he will want to be friends with you but, for now he is not at that point so just leave him be. Anyway, we're only getting one half of the story, really not that much as you did not explain why you guys broke up. What you should do is just leave him alone. Leave his friends alone. Leave his family alone. When he calls don't answer. Be cordial when spoken to. All communication should cease and you should just live your life.

He is the ex. What do you expect. Typically when a friendship develops after the break up, it takes some time. Especially if it isn't a mutual break up.
