what's DXM like ?

When I take 400mg of DXM, the trip starts after about 30 minutes and lasts roughly 5 hours. At first, I feel calm and notice various changes in my perception. Noises are louder, normal situations (like having a conversation or playing a game) seem strange and unfamiliar. Later, I become captivated by my surroundings. Everything and anything is suddenly amazing. Walking becomes awkward, sort of jerky and uncoordinated. I also have a hard time picking things up, etc. Near the end, I feel as if I am seperated from my body.

At higher doses (like 800mg) I loose complete control of reality. Time becomes meaningless, as I seemingly travel back and forth between the past and the future. I also hallucinate and have 'blank' periods where I may have been doing something for a considerable amount of time and not have any awareness or memory of it afterwards.

My choice of product is Robitussin Cough & Col Gelcaps. Here's why:

There are a variety of cough medicines containing Dextromethorphane (DXM). When chosing, you want something that lists DXM as the ONLY active ingredient. Other active ingredients can be fatal in high doses, ingredients such as Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

Cough medicines come in various forms . . . syrup, sucrets, gelcaps. The syrup has thickeners and sweateners that can be hard on the liver. It also tastes nasty. You'd have to eat a huge number of sucrets to get the effect. I recommend the golcaps. They are easy an simple to swallow.

* Note that DXM use can be fatal when combine with an SSRI (certain classes of antidepressents)

Very very much of a logy body high, friend, lasting much longer then I'd want. Hard to stand up or even raise an arm because the body feels leaden - so does the brain. If you do alc with it can kill. I'd call it a low, not a high. I steer way clear of it. You'll do what you want. .

Well a friend of mine was at my house and drank a whole bottle of the robitussin regular. It was quite interesting. I can't tell you from personal experience but his trip was not unlike most trips from what he said, bright colors, you feel different, sudden realizations, life awakenings, things of that nature. This lasted from about 4 in the afternoon until about 10, then he was in my bathroom throwing up for like an hour. I hate throwing up, so I haven't tried it. .

I love it but alot of people dont I always have good feelings time slows down and minutes feel like hours which is good because I enjoy every second I get a calm and a feeling of my whole body being massaged at once though on higher doses around the 3rd plateau I can get confused and very euphoric feelings but even then I enjoy almost everything esprccially music it is the best if you are into art or poetry dxm is for you it is a very creative mind exploring drug on high doses and even low doses will make you quostion everything about your lyrics or if blending those colors work

i took it once a full bottle of robitussin and boy did i have a great time. it is a totally unique trip, not like lsd or mushrooms or salvia. it really messes up your spacial dimensions. like i was laying down on my friends floor and i thought i was standing up. it seemed like time didnt exist. it lasted really long, for almost a day. i have since done it a few mores times. you should get robitussin whith the active ingredient dextromethoprhan, make sure it doesnt have any thing else in it like spuedophedrin or guaf that will just mess with the trip. enjoy.
