what can happen if i don't pay a parking ticket in a state I don't live in?

I got one in MD but I'll never be back there. Can they collect on a $60 parking ticket if I never go back to the state? I've heard about people stockpiling parking tickets. I just want to know what the consequences could be if I just let one go unpaid.

    there will be a warrant for your arrest anyway. its the law. just pay it though..i mean its just $60

    they can't do anything to you. if you receive ticket in your new address, it is better to pay off.
