Wow! What a strange dream? Your thoughts, please?
Once I dreamed when I reached old age, I encountered a questing child and recognized him not. I walked on, only to turn to gaze once more upon the child. It was then that I saw, it was I. The wisdom of age had shown me that, in seeking to know, I had only found the child. He knew me not, as he receded into the distance and I advanced onward, toward my ending.
In this vision, I learned that the child knows not the adult that will be and an old person remembers the child only as a stranger. Yet, buried within the dream, was the innocence of childhood and the wisdom that comes with old age. I now know that I end where I began, with myself.
Its not so much that we are born, live and then die. We all do that. Its what you learn along the way that's important. No only the empirical facts, but the lessons that a only a life truly lived can teach.

Awesome dream! You end where you began; yes,it seems some things just dont change.It's ironic that the younger ages strive to grow up, and as people get older they seem to cherish their youth.

but in my opinion, it's cool. lol :]
About the dream-
you just basically solved it on your own.
Interesting though, because it is how it is.
From a cradle to a casket, an infant to an elder-
it's the circle of life that we can't avoid.

You obviously have a very deep, soulful, and intelligent mind to be able to dream something like that up... Like an answerer above, i agree, you are seeing the unbreakable cycle of life to death... That is a great dream.
Wouldn't it be great if this dream were true 1,000 years from now and you still understood this same truth? Wouldn't it be great if dreams do come true?
