What is a pair of rossignol 9x racing carving generation skis worth?

I found a pair of Rossignol 9X racing Carving generation skis 170cm, marker bindings, in someones trash, perfectly good, dont know why they threw them out. Any ideas as to what they are worth? Also what is the best brand of ski?

Could be several reasons they were tossed. I bought a similar pair last December, $100 USD, with Rossignol race bindings, used but not abused.

The ski is long and stiff for current trends in the US, also check the bindings for damage and the flex pattern of the ski. Sometimes the damage is concealed except to an expert. One my students rented a pair and when he tried to use them we found they were broken.

Flex the ski and shake it, check for sheer twist and base condition. Good luck.

It depends on where you are. Some areas have ski swaps at local high schools. Also try C's list and see what the local market is for them. I bought a pair about that size with bindings a couple of months ago for $200, more advanced design and only 5 years old. I doubt they are worth that much since the technology has changed radically in the past 4 years.
