what do you think about this trade??
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?...
San Antonio get the young talent they needed and get rid of a player that has a huge salary.
New Jersey gets the bench men they've always wanted. A scoring machine who can put up an easy 15+ point performance and big men to help grab some boards.

Not a chance.
New Jersey won't do this because:
1) They already have Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson so they won't be looking for another wing player.
2) The Nets are on a rebuilding stage so they won't trade a young back-up point guard for a 30's back-up Center.
San Antonio won't do this because:
1) Even though they're problem is aging, one of their youngest (and best) players is Tony Parker so they won't be trying to solve that problem in one position only.
2) Mahinmi is one of the team's expected forerunners for the years to come. They drafted him and they believe in him. They don't usually trade players they drafted.
3) You think the Spurs will agree to catch Van Horn's salary for three years? The guy doen't even play anymore.
4) They'll never give Ginobili away. The Spurs offensive playbook have plays designed for a player only of Manu's caliber and style.
5) What San Antonio needs are big men not a bunch of guards and perimiter players.

new jersey already has scoring and bigmen, Oberto is not much of an improvement from Williams and Boone..... Manu is great but Vince is better...... San Antonio is probably more interested in dealing Duncan than Manu..... and they are not getting much in return because they centerpiece they get is going to play behind Parker.....

No way in hell would San Antonio do that and if they did they would retarded. You don't trade Manu Ginobili. Especially if you aren't getting a star in return.

I think San antonio would have to be crazy....I wouldnt trade ginobli for any of those player maybe all those players for oberto.. Keith Van Horn-washed up.

LOL the Nets ripped off the Spurs.. Atleast give them Jefferson.. I doubt the Nets will be stupid enough to reject that trade..
