Personal Chef-ing?

What do you feel the success rate would be for a personal chef type to teach people to make desserts, candy, etc?

What would be a good price range to charge per person?

The personal chef would pick up the ingredients needed and leave what was left over with the host or hostess.

If you are providing ingredients, no more than $30 per person (with a lower rate for larger groups) for a three hour class, which should be enough time to teach several types of desserts.

The problem here is that most home kitchens will not be big enough to really teach a class, they would just be watching you do it, and that is not teaching cooking.

I hope this is no more than a side job, and it's not really a personal chef position.

a personal chef prepares meals for a family, usually a week at a time and stocks the fridge with ready to heat and eat dishes.

I might pay about $15 or $20 myself. Is this per hour, though.....or per class? My price would be per class....not per hour.
