What is a good place to post home school curriculum for resale? Other than eBay?

I cleaned my shelves and was going to post on eBay. Is there a better board for home schoolers?

The Old Schoolhouse Magazine has an auction site - and you can post teacher's guides/editions there:

The Homeschool Buyers' Co-op has free classifieds:

    Someone mentioned VegSource:

There are many Yahoo Groups for buying/selling/trading HS curricula.

I post, and receive a LOT of stuff at PaperbackSwap. The books are free with credits (which will "cost" ~$2 each). I recently "scored" a brand new college text ($130 value) on PBS. There is a lot of HS curriculum there, and there's a HS board in the forums.

Our local HS association has a big sale each year. That's when I do the bulk of my selling.

HSLDA curriculum market is a great site for re-sale of items. As someone else mentioned there are several yahoo groups the one I listed below is a bit of a discussion group but mostly selling items. Also if there are any home-school groups in your area you could check and see if they have yahoo groups or host sales annually sometimes that's an option.

I am always looking for an affordable way to recycle my home-school items with three kids its not too hard. Good luck :o)

You can resell curriculum on This Little Piggy Stays Home. It's a wonderful home school site.

Maybe try a flea market or yard sale? I know many homeschoolers who look for books at yeard sales and flea markets.

Also, look for curriculum fairs run by churches or other groups -- often they allow for individuals to bring books/supplies for sale/trade

  • if you belong to a homeschool group that has a news letter you can post an add for the books in that.
