Bracket Question?

In tournament bracketing, is the team who is listed at the top considered the home team, and the team at the bottom the visiting team? The scoreboard doesn't necessarily reflect who is listed first in the bracket other than the visitors are listed first and the home team is listed second on the scoreboard. I was always under the impression that the home team was always listed first on the bracket.

Typically yes, however it depends on who makes the brackett. We have a rep who often puts the @ symbol between the teams making the home team on the bottom of the pairing. In traditional bracketting though, the home team is on top.

BTW - Dork think's baseball's boring because Baseball is a thinking man's game... I don't think he possesses the neccessary equipment to enjoy anything that requires thought.

The home team is usually listed last ... the visitors first.

    The schedule for hockey goes:

Detroit vs New York, meaning Detroit is visiting New York.

In baseball since the home team has last at bat they should be listed on the bottom.
