Anybody know why "Undecided Questions" from 2 yrs. ago still show?

I'm just curious. You cannot access them, at least a couple of pages of them, when you click on one you get "That question has been deleted". Presumably that means it's been resolved.

I go back to help clear out old Qs and this makes it difficult to find the beginning of the ones that you CAN vote on.

It is my understanding that there is a "glitch" in the system when processing some of the Undecided Questions lists. Periodically the Undecided Questions are scanned and the resolved tiebreakers are removed.

Sometimes within a large database the records (Q&As) will become "detached" or have "broken chains" and the software program coding is not able to correctly process the records (Q&A's). In some cases, it requires the site's Database Administrator to "fix" the problems and these minor annoyances don't get a very high priority for getting fixed. On occasion, the database Vendor is required to get involved and that takes a lot of time to get things fixed.

If you bring it to the attention of the Yahoo!Answers Team and/or Staff, they usually take a look into the situation. Just post an entry in the Yahoo!Answers Suggestion Board (Forum) or leave comments to any of the existing Posts already there. Be sure to mention the particular category.

My suggestion is that once you find a good "starting place" in the file for voting the Undecided Question, just bookmark the page or put the page into your Favorites file. Then each day you can start at the same place (page number). The questions will have changed in the file, but not the starting page number.

Hope this helps. And thanks for voting the Undecided Questions.

There are many resolved questions in with the ones in voting, as well as deleted ones. Unfortunately, this seems to happen a lot on the site. We complain on a regular basis to the team (via the Forum), and they clean some of it out, but there is still an awful lot that is needed to be done.

I've noticed that a lot of these (as well as resolved ones still in OPEN questions) seem to be around the same time period. I think that every time the site goes 'down' for a while, it stops updating the status of these questions, so they end up being in the wrong place forever.

I've lost my mom 1 yr ago this month, one year before that I lost my sister and before her I lost my oldest brother. John 5:28-29 & Acts 24:15 assures us that there is going to be a resurrection, I don't see how those that believe that their dead loved ones are in heaven, Jesus said that those that go to heaven are neither male or female, so how would you know the difference between them. Rev 21:3-4 says that there is going to be a time right here on earth where no one will die, Romans 6:7 says that all that have died are acquitted of their sins. This being the case there is no need for the pagan doctrine of a burning hell to exist.

My theory is trolls with bots giving themselves BA for unanswered question is how these people get 30,000 points like Paul Grass in a matter of months.
