How come I have two red rings on my 360?
I just got it used so I don't know it well. As soon as i turned it on i tried to put a game in but the drive didn't open. I turned it on and 2 flashing lights appeared (top two when vertical.) I tried to open the disk drive again and it still wouldn't open.
I let it cool down for 7 hours and tried again. This time 3 red lights appeared and i was like "thats what i get for buying it for $100."
How can i fix this? I tried the squeeze thing and didn't work, i'm not going to do the dumb as hell towel trick, and I don't know if i could send it to microsoft cuz i bought it on ebay. Any tips?
It couldn't have been overheated cuz i took it out the box and tried to turn it on. I took out the hardrive and got the same thing.

Two red lights is a sign of overheating or there's a malfunction with the game if it happens at the same spot every time.
If you have the ring of death, you should be able to send it to MS for repairs.

OK WHOA. That's...messed up. Try anything you can to return it. Red ring means its messed up and isn't coming back. Maybe the power cord is a little loose but I doubt it. Did it have a warranty? You better hope it did. Otherwise try calling

The console is dead. Two red lights means that it overheated and three means that it is dead. Sucks for you.
