global food shortage,is this another line of BS ?

is it more hype about nothing ,like the new ice age, then the ozone holes, then global warming, then oil shortage. seems like as soon as one lie gets debunked they come out with another

Update:

how hard is it to create a shortage by stockpiling food and not distributing it

Update 2:

well i came to this on my own, after reading how nasa had to send up shuttle once to view ozone hole before it closed, and after it went from coming ice age to global warming. seems like powers of the world want to spread fear.

Update 3:

well i don't have a problem helping others,i have a problem with people creating a problem and only solution is us giving money and aid. i read about the hegelian principle opened my eyes

Update 4:

not saying people aren't starving,i am saying the situation is created

There's no shortage. There's just too many poor people having too many children. If you can't feed yourself, don't have children!!

When there is a toilet paper shortage, I will panic.

If you want to educate yourself on this issue, try reading The Economist. They had a recent issue with a cover "The Silent Tsunami". In the magazine, they explain that food aid cannot continue to be distributed in the traditional way. Shortages are not worldwide, nor have they been historically. The difference now is that the distribution costs have skyrocketed, forcing even the base prices for grain to rise. We see the effects in the form of rising prices at the grocery. But food aid organizations get hit more than once. The declining dollar means they can purchase less food aid. High petroleum prices mean it costs more to distribute. Famine areas are less able to be helped as a result. The writers suggest a re-thinking of aid -- more of a "teach a man to fish" approach.

Honestly, there is nothing fictitious about people starving. If I were you, I would broaden my education and experience before posing a question like this in a public forum. Your compassion level and lack of understanding speak volumes about who you are.

there are certainly people dying in places like zimbabwe and sierra leon, If they had money, we might be able to supply them. I can't say if the food shortages are caused by lack of supply or lack of money. We still waste plenty of food. But even you must notice that the prices have gone up. Places that were already on the margins are going to fall below and have problems. I havn't seen it myself but there is no gain from lying to us about this, so if there are places requesting aid or food, i see no reason to disbelieve them.

One thing I find interesting is your point of view. I would imagine you're the type of guy who doesn't need much to convince you war, that the muslims are bad. That you'll believe no problem, no evidence. Lets go get em.

But then a person like you, has an opportunity to help someone, create life not destroy it. And you are suspicious. You want a full investigation before you feed someone, shoot them sure no problem, feed them and I don't know. Are you sure we should?

So where do your arguments come from? Did you think this up all by yourself? Did you read it on Faux news? Like I said, I have no reason to disbelieve it. What is your reason to disbelieve it? Why don't you want to believe there are people who need your help. Do you work for some food company? Or some company that wants to see people starve for some reason? Did you read these arguments and suspicions in a magazine or media that represents some company who wants to let people starve because it will save them money. This is what it's about. This is why some company or another pays a public relations representative hundreds of thousands of dollars, to create these stories to create these suspicions. So, I am curious, where you heard this, who put the idea in your head? If it is your idea, where's the profit? What's your angle in denial?

Voila! an superb subject matter wherein worry-unfastened floor between 2 very distinctive issues must be stumbled on. despite in case you have faith in international Warming or no longer the fact nonetheless maintains to be temperatures are starting to be and the polar ice caps are melting. you will ought to blind or stay under a rock to no longer be conscious those products. the foremost reason i think of that many human beings positioned this off as fiction is by using the fact in the event that they agree and stick to technological know-how this time it makes them look undesirable for putting different issues off that technological know-how has additionally shown fact (evolution, enormous bang thought, etc.). they do no longer wanna section with it now to stay away from finding undesirable interior the long-term that's undeniable BS. that is wintry climate right here in Florida and we are dealing with 80 degree climate! I mean that is often warm, no lie, yet wintry climate is frequently the time the place it drops to a minimum of 60. Why human beings won't be able to positioned their ideals aside to attain our planet is in severe difficulty is previous me. the two way Christianity has consistently achieved the alternative of what that is supposedly meant to do....

Do you know that there are starving people in the world? Just because your fridge and kitchen cabinets are full, doesn't mean that's the same for everyone else.
