A better question would be, 'Are you real?'
How easy it is, for you to believe (I mean undying faith) that the world will be same when you wake up, as it was when you went to bed.
That, truly, is the most ridiculous thing.
Ever consider what keeps us on this world? I mean, why doesn't gravity just suddenly stop functioning and we all fling off into the unknown and vanish? Nobody truly understands gravity. They say they do but how is it, they do? By dropping an apple?"Oh, looky there....something causes it to fall. We'll call it gravity and be the masters of this great force"
You don't see the irony in just going along with the program?
Why does the air, stay the right mixture for us? What keeps it adhered to this globe? Why does it hang around?
Imagine: we think we are so intelligent and yet we are little more than ants, living on a ball that rotates in space at a given rhythm. And what cause that rhythm to continue for thousands of years, without fail? Ummmm....the pull of the moon? Ball bearings that can't stop flinging themselves?
Are you real? Is this world real? How on earth, can you believe in what you see, every day and have so much faith in it and yet still have trouble believing there is a God?

Well in fist place if you are making fun of people who believe in god and YOU DONT BELIEVE IN GOD AS I CAN CLEARLY SEE. I can tell you you are the one who is Really Wrong and I fell very sorry for you. People like you are usually the most miserable and lonely and have the worst lifes.IN behalf of Everyone WE will pray for you so you ( EITHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT)discover a good life in Jesus Christ and so ONE DAY YOU WILL SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES THAT GOD EXIST and it was NO bullshit .You have a very hard heart like a stone so there is no point to try to talk to you.
EVERYONE LETS PRAY for this person who is ignorant and naive and not sure that god exists that god shows himself to her one of this days in her life. And that she has an open heart to search for god so her life will be transformed completely>BLESS HER FAMILY.
All welcome to pray even muslims for this girl so God can appear in her life the way it appeared on many lifes.so she can truly see that GOD IS NO JOKE.
With all the best intentions the Yahoo family answers community and all of us.Have a good day.

Nope, He is only as real as the person that imagines him makes him!
Religions were created in a time where people needed to believe in something. The world was full of brutal barbarians that had nothing to look forward to. What better way to civilized people and give them hope than religion. They showed them that there was heaven, a blissful place that they will go to after this life, but only if they are good. So it gave them hope while controlling them at the same time. They killed two birds with one stone. It was actually a great political move for whomever made it up.

Jacey,
All of your answers and your only question have been in the religion and spirituality section.
Sometimes all it takes is a simple prayer, "God, if you're real, be real to me."
Good luck.

Are your thoughts real? Is the Pythagorean Theorem real? Yes then, God is Real. Does he have any function outside of our own minds? That's another question entirely.

My Answer: Yes
I've studied Many Ancient Religions and have come to the following conclusion:
Religion is man-made and merely a distorted illusion of Spirituality.

The answer is very simple:
There is no evidence of any kind that there is or ever has been any sort of "god." For rational thinkers, that quite simply means that with no evidence to support the notion, despite thousands of years of superstitous humans trying to prove it, the odds of it being "real" are incredibly slim. By far the most likely answer is that there is no god of any kind.
Peace.

God is real, but why should we tell you this strictly for your entertainment? I could tell you things from my experience, but you wouldn't be laughing when I was through.

We know so little about the universe and what's beyond it so who are we to say that there is someone there controlling us or that there is nothing there and we are alone?
I don't think there's a great argument for either side personally and a lot of them do make me laugh.

Considering the total lack of evidence and the contradictory, illogical and multiple definitions of god. Also considering that these definitions are exactly what humans would come up with if they were to invent these gods . . .
No.
