Why do people think Clinton won the popular vote??
Clinton supporters keep saying this, but its simply not true. she wants to count MI and FL, which she agreed wouldn't count, until she needed the votes. and she doesn't want to count caucus states. I mean, Clinton supporters have to know deep down that she isn't winning the popular vote, right?
the people that say she won the popular vote...can you say how?
jimsgirl- you can go ahead and count FL and MI. but then you still have to leave out the caucus states, where people, including myself, have voted to put clinton ahead. and that still is assuming no one would have voted for Obama in MI.

psycho - she wins if you count MI, with no votes going to Obama, or if you count MI, with uncommited going to Obama, without counting all caucus state estimates. now...where do you get your counts?

Anyone that believes Clinton won the popular vote -- or anything else for that matter -- listened to "spin" from her campaign rather than the facts. It has been four months since she led in any category.
A child may initially fight the idea that there isn't a Santa Clause, but they know it's true long before they will admit it -- might even throw a tantrum. This is exactly what has been going on. There has been no doubt about the outcome of the nomination since early March, and I doubt there is anyone, Clinton supporter or not, who really believed she could win after that point. Remember, March is when the heads of the DNC began asking Clinton to step down.

Can you show me where she did NOT win the popular vote?
You can argue that she didn't but there's plenty of proof to show that she has. Florida and Michigan delegates were the issue, not the popular vote. That fact aside, the DNC is seating both states so clearly the popular vote factors in as well -- unless you're just looking for excused to make believe they don't (which is slapping a lot of Democrats in the face)
Do the math, I have three times. Clinton has the popular vote - period. She has it even if you factor in caucus estimates AND give Obama the 75% of the uncommitted vote from Michigan (which we legally can't but just to further illustrate the point).
Maybe it's time for people to reverse that argument and ask Obama and his supporters what kind of new math THEY are using?
By the way, I'm not a Clinton support but reality is reality. You're welcomed to update a source that shows she doesn't have it (note that RCP uses 100% of the uncommitted MI vote to suggest she may not -- apparently that's a world where Edwards, Richardson etc. got no votes at all but Dodd and Gravel somehow got thousands)

Like her or not, Clinton DID win the popular vote. If you add up all the votes of the PEOPLE and include Florida and Michigan, the PEOPLE voted for Clinton. Remember, we're talking the votes of the people NOT the number of delegates won. If the race were decided solely on the way each individual person voted, Clinton would win the nomination hands down. However, the screwed up way the Democrats award delegate votes has given Obama the lead.

Anything they can fling to save a drowning douche. Two states broke the rules. Even with them, she's still behind, but has no problem breaking the rules to get what she wants.
She would only be winning the popular vote if cheating states were allowed to cheat. When things are on a fair playing field, she's behind a man - where she belongs.
Sounds like a hypocite to me.

Because people found out who Obama really is. The frontrunner should have been cruising instead of limping to the finish line. My question is how could people back that empty suit without knowing anything about him?

SHE'S DEFINITELY WINNING THE POPULAR VOTE...
Obama got delegates in Michigan even though he quit, and he got delegates in Florida too. You should pay closer attention to the news.

no--they're as delusional as she is....
go figure.
keep on fighting and running up debt. don't worry, my good friend obama will bail out the clintons and probably give her a job as secy of state.
