im in the same boat, and i've been in it since november, i've found 2 temporary jobs, and was fired from 1 temporary job just a few days ago...when i mean temp i mean 2 to 3 weeks. It really sucks to not have a job when you've been actively searching for so long and getting false hopes high. Now i really want to leave my house and start on my own, and i've had sum people call me back and do a screening but i never hear from them again, its so annoying and debilitating b/c its hard to even get a call back in 1st place. And i actually have a resume, one of the best to be exact, with experiences, activities, awards, academics, etc....and i've sent it to possibly over 100 companies this past year and still no job. I'm also just a few months away from my associates too, its extremely frustrating to say the least. I walked up to stores and what not, and the other day a mcdonalds hiring manager made a lame excuse as to why i wouldnt be hired, he said hes going on vacation for 2 weeks. Because all this and other experiences i don't even want to share i did sumthing i never done before and bought a pack of cigarettes and now im just super depressed, so if your like me and are stuck then just keep trying...i guess thats the only motivation i can give you and myself at this moment.
Don't try any online jobs b/c their all scams trust me, and don't try any placement agencies either b/c i have and they just waste your time. If you have a car literally go to every place in sight and apply, whether they're hiring or not, and if you don't get called back then you'll either get inspired to apply till you get a job or momentarily give up and get depressed.

Keep applying at different locations. It is said that if you apply to 3 places a day, for a week, at least one person should call. Don't give up.
