Burning in between my fingers?

Sometimes I get this kind of burning sensation in between my ring finger and pinky...not like right between them, but more towards the top of my hand, close to the muscle? I don't really work out or do anything to injure the area.....so what else could this be?

Update:

**It is usually sudden and completely random. I never know when to expect it. It usually comes and goes very mildly but I would rather it not come at all.....
